Moving into a new home means its time to set up a new studio space. Right now its a temporary set up in a spare room. Hopefully moving into the garage in the near future. The space is great, lots of space and lots of reverb.

WHATS NEXT

Not ideal for recording yet, but once the holidays are over it'll be time for sound treatment. (Not sound proofing, that is a completely different ball park) Luckily, I have lots of options.

Foam is a hit and miss, it can help to dampen the corner echos, but its not dense enough to trap sounds. Most people use it as backing for DIY acoustic panels. Luckily there are lots of options for me to choose from for sound treatment. I had ordered some acoustimac panels (not sponsored) for the old studio/office space. Now they'll be used here.

There's also some decorating to do, I'm grateful my fiancee and art teacher friend is helping with that because I have no eye for decorating. Which also means its time to tidy up. There is gear I'll need to sort through and make some decisions on what stays and what goes.

STUDIO SPACE PURPOSE

This is a space I plan on using to create and live-stream. It was hard to leave home to go to the office and work on a song. Now it'll be easier to create in the comfort of my own home. With pups running around and my fiancee close by. That's why the space needs to look good, its

going to be shared with people online.

The space also has been giving me more inspiration to create. I have been to able to write songs, practice my instruments more, and have a place to isolate from the world. Usually I'd have to have multi-purpose spaces. Now everything feels right by having a music room in the house.

I can't wait to show you how the studio space progresses. Make sure to subscribe to check out other blog posts.
